Abstract of the book:

In today’s society, communication between the patient, doctor, and pharmacy is essential. Therefore, it is necessary to facilitate communication between them. In this regard, the existence of computers and electronic services has made this communication easier and more practical than ever before. The subject of this article is about the report on the design and launch of a comprehensive electronic health system. In this plan, a comprehensive system is considered that includes the sections of the electronic health record, online appointment scheduling, touch kiosk information terminal system, office and clinic management, paraclinic, laboratories and pharmacy diagnostic centers, and the launch of online medical consultation and treatment. All stages and components of the health system are electronically connected to each other and provide their services in such a way that first, patients and those who need consultation and medical services enter the system through the comprehensive appointment scheduling website and schedule an appointment online from the desired department. Doctors also receive all previous patient information by having an electronic clinic and connecting to the comprehensive online medical site and enter new patient information into the relevant section on the site. Patient information and all stages of disease diagnosis, such as tests and radiography, are sent to the relevant departments on the site. Pharmacies then connect to the site and receive the patient’s drug information and insurance services, either in person or offline, and deliver the relevant prescription to the patient. By presenting this plan, Brandt intends to improve the shortcomings and deficiencies that exist in the sites and programs prepared nationwide in the field of electronic health.
